Since they are taken at night, most of these images are dark and they need to be displayed in well-lit areas. They might disappear in a dark hallway.
These are timed exposures of up to 3 minutes. Consequently, trees can move in the wind, and foreground elements will appear rotated. Because the images are taken with fast film, they are somewhat grainy. Stars will become a little distorted near the edge of the field. This is due to curvature of the camera lens. Many people have commented that these elements add an extra artistic touch
Very few (if any) alterations have been made to the images other than fixing scratches in the negatives.
Actual photo prints will not look exactly like the images on your comuter monitor. This is due to many factors including grain becoming more obvious in larger sizes, color duplication methods, individual color representations on monitors, and so forth. Most times the actual prints are much more dramatic than what you see on the computer.
When showing some of my images to the public I initially thought people would gravitate toward just a few pictures, but I was wrong. Choices were very widespread for various reasons. Consequently, I am offering a wide range of shots. I will continue to add more as time and money permits.
Professional color prints take approximately two weeks to produce. Please allow three weeks for delivery. Prints are shipped by US Priority Mail.
