The Great Comet Hale-Bopp rises over one of the unusual formations down the Navajo Trail in Bryce Canyon. The Canyon elevation is quite high (8,800 feet) which helps to make the stars brighter. The light pollution is not a problem either with the closest large city hundreds of miles away. Weather Conditions: Very cold, dry and clear.
