Shortly before morning twilight, Jupiter and the waning Moon rise over the straits between the Keys and Cuba reflecting their light on the calm waters. The light from the Moon and Jupiter is also reflected light, from our sun. Weather Conditions: This was the clearest night in over 13 years of attending the Winter Star Party. A strong arctic high passed over the Keys past Cuba which allowed for viewing the stars down to the horizon.
