| offers breathtaking 3-D slide shows of the night sky.
At this time two basic shows are being offered.
Presentations are available primarily along the front range of the Rockies in Colorado.
The first slide show, Nitescapes 3-D Comets, is devoted primarily to the Great Comet Hale-Bopp. This show consists of eighty 3-D images of Hale-Bopp shot from various locations, such as Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon, Colorado, Florida and Georgia. It also includes images of the Great Comet Hyakutake, with bonus shots of both Perseid and Leonid Meteor Showers and an occultation of Saturn by the Moon.
The second slide show, Nitescapes 3-D Northern Lights, consists of eighty 3-D images of the Northern Lights taken in early 2002 during Solar Maximum from Yellowknife, NT, Canada. I spent six weeks over a six-month period in Yellowknife capturing two thousand 3-D images of the Aurora in sub-zero weather.
Currently, I have four different slide shows of the Northern Lights and will be converting more slides from over 1,000 print images for future shows.
Viewers are provided with special 3-D glasses during the presentation. Space music enhances the narration of two side-by-side projectors which create a 3-dimensional effect on a 70-inch screen.
Allow about 60 minutes for the entire presentation. This includes a 5-minute introduction, 40-minutes of slide viewing and 15 minutes for questions – these shows generate many questions! Two hundred 3-D glasses are available.
Two different shows can be combined (i.e. Nitescapes 3-D Comets and Nitescapes 3-D Northern Lights) or viewers can enjoy two trays of Nitescapes 3-D Northern Lights. Each additional tray adds about an hour to the program.

Over the last 18 months Nitescapes 3-D presentations have delighted hundreds of people.
One teenager said it gave her a whole new view of life and nature.
