Title: Comet Hale-Bopp over Monument Valley Monument Valley, Utah, March 1997

The Great Comet Hale-Bopp rises over the dessert floor at 2:30 in the morning. I observed the Comet from the campsite (empty due to the time of year). I was the only one lucky enough to see this remarkable site.
Weather Conditions: Cold (15 degrees), dry and clear.
