Title: Veil of Orion Yellowknife, NT, Canada: October 2001

A bright green aurora hangs over the constellation Orion. Jupiter can be seen just above the tree. A passing truck illuminates the trees, creating a colorful foreground.
This was taken before it snowed in Yellowknife; however it began snowing heavily the day I left for Denver, which made the drive back interesting (I spun out into a snow bank).
Weather Conditions: Clear, dry, temperature approximately 20 degrees F.
